The femoral body most often
breaks through 1/3 middle part. It is explanatory that the physiological
anterolateral inclination of the femur is maximum in this region and direct
trauma often targets this area.
4.5mm Femur Broad Straight Locking Plate has been designed to stabilize fractures and deformities in the shaft (middle, diaphyseal) part of the femur bone.
The number of holes is between 3 and 12. The plate can be used with Ø4.5mm locking or unlocking cortical screws or Ø6.5mm locking or unlocking cancellous screws, depending on the surgeon's preference.
The plate is designed to be flush with the bone surface and minimize soft tissue irritation. Thanks to the conical ends of the plate, its placement on the bone is easier.
Thanks to the Kirschner wire holes, the plate can be temporarily fixed to the femur, fracture parts can be reduced and the position of the plate relative to the bone can be adjusted.
The plate is made of Ti6Al4V ELI material, meeting ASTM F136 standard requirements.
