and ulna are two long bones in the elbow, with humerus in the elbow, with
carpal bones in the wrist, and in the forearm, which form a complex
articulation between themselves, both distal and wrist. Especially in pronation
and supination, the angular arrangement of the middle diaphysis of both bones
is important for the functions of the hand.
3.5mm Locking Ulna Radius Straight Plate is designed to stabilize ulna and radius shaft fractures and deformities.
The number of holes is between 2 and 14. The plate can be used with Ø2.7mm, Ø3.5mm and Ø4.0mm locking cortical or cancellous screws according to the surgeon's preference.
The plate is designed to be flush with the bone surface and minimize soft tissue irritation. Thanks to the conical ends of the plate, its placement on the bone is easier. The bottom of the plate has a limited contact surface with the bone. In this way, the slowdown in blood flow is minimized.
Thanks to the Kirschner wire holes, the plate can be temporarily fixed to the radius, broken pieces can be reduced and the position of the plate relative to the bone can be adjusted.
The plate is made of Ti6Al4V ELI material, meeting ASTM F136 standard requirements.
