4.5mm Tibia Locking Straight Plate, It is designed to stabilize fractures and deformities in the shaft (middle, diaphyseal) part of the tibia bone.
The number of holes is from 6 to 11. The plate can be used with Ø4.5mm locking or unlocking cortical screws or Ø6.5mm locking or unlocking cancellous screws, depending on the surgeon's preference.
The plate is designed to be flush with the bone surface and minimize soft tissue irritation. Thanks to the conical ends of the plate, its placement on the bone is easier. The bottom of the plate has a limited contact surface with the bone. In this way, the slowdown in blood flow is minimized.
Thanks to the Kirschner wire holes, the plate can be temporarily fixed to the tibia, broken pieces can be reduced and the position of the plate relative to the bone can be adjusted.
