Indications: TRUE LOCK Superior Distal Clavicle Anatomic Plates is indicated for the surgical treatment of the following:
Midshaft clavicle fractures
Lateral clavicle fractures
Clavicle malunions
Clavicle nonunions
Anatomical considerations: The clavicle is the first bone to ossify during fetal development and the last to complete ossification in adolescence. It has a characteristic S-shaped curve, with anteromedial convexity and anterolateral concavity, and requires anatomically shaped implants for effective fixation.
