Indications: TRUE LOCK Distal Femur Plate, is indicated for the fixation of the following: Distal femur fractures including distal diaphyseal, intra-articular and supracondylar fractures; periprosthetic fractures around knee implants.
Clinical Background: Distal femur fractures account for approximately 4–6% of all femoral fractures. They are more common after high-energy trauma in younger patients and low-energy injuries in older patients, and often present as spiral or oblique fractures.
